Typical Christmas recipe from the United States and Canada, known as Apple Cider. A different cider to surprise your guests, made from natural apple juice. A mixture of aroma and flavor.
INGREDIENTS:- 7 apples
- 1 orange
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- 5 cups of water
Wash and dry the apples, Remove the seeds and divide them in quarters. Cut the orange into slices. Put the fruit in a casserole along with the species and cover with the water.
Heat until it starts to boil. Lower the heat and cook a couple of hours until the fruit is soft. Strain, pressing with a spoon to extract the liquid with all its juice. Put the sugar and heat half an hour until everything dissolves completely.
Serve very hot, with thin slices of apple.

MASTER TRICK
You can use the variety of apples you like best and mix them: red, green or yellow. Add other spices, such as anise, fresh ginger or cardamom, so you will give more body to the drink. And if you want something stronger, add rum to the mix. You just have to evaporate it and go!
